Balongan, April 4, 2023 – Deputy Commissioner of Pertamina, Pahala Mansury, directly inspected the readiness of the infrastructure of Balongan Refinery and Integrated Fuel Terminal to support the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force (RAFI) Pertamina 2023, which started its duty on April 1, 2023.
According to Pahala Mansury, the Integrated Fuel Terminal in Balongan is an integrated terminal between fuel, LPG, and Refinery Unit VI Balongan, which supplies fuel to the Plumpang Terminal. Every day, the Balongan Integrated Fuel Terminal distributes 3,185 KL of fuel to petrol stations in the DKI Jakarta, West Java, and surrounding areas.
"The purpose of this visit is to ensure the readiness of the Balongan Integrated Fuel Terminal during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. All infrastructure must be ready and able to anticipate the flow of Eid al-Fitr travelers. In addition, petrol stations must also be ready 24 hours a day. Everything must be truly ready," said Pahala Mansury during his inspection of the Balongan Integrated Fuel Terminal on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
Pahala added that even though fuel usage is slightly decreasing, all petrol stations on the homecoming route are guaranteed to be on standby 24 hours a day. If there is a shortage, it must be refilled immediately.
"Pertamina has also prepared various service innovations during the homecoming period, such as Fuel Tank Trucks at petrol stations, motorcyclists operating on toll roads, and Modular petrol stations placed at critical congestion points and new routes," added Pahala.
In addition to the readiness of energy distribution infrastructure, Pahala also ensured safety and reliable IT systems during the RAFI Task Force.
"Pertamina continues to ensure safety as the top priority. The IT system at Balongan Refinery has sufficient safety, including the readiness of the infrastructure control room so that it is ready for production services or supply chains to the Plumpang Terminal," concluded Pahala.**
