Teams are Increased to Accelerate Verification of Affected Houses and Properties

Indramayu, April 5, 2021 - Pertamina has accelerated data verification on damaged residents' property, public and social facilities such as houses of worship and schools, as well as government agencies affected by the T-301 Kilang Balongan tank incident. Acceleration measures are taken by increasing the number of verification teams from 8 teams to 16 teams.

Apart from these 16 teams, Pertamina also assigned 2 internal teams to collect data on damaged public facilities and social facilities. Therefore, it can be used during Ramadan.

Today (5/4), verification has been carried out in Sukaurip Village and Kesambi Block, Balongan Village, Balongan District. The total data collected reached 365 residents' houses and 53 reports consisting of worship houses, schools, and agency offices.

Previously, the socialization had been carried out in Sukaurip, Balongan, Tegalurung, and Majakerta villages involving various parties, including the PUPR Office of the Indramayu Regional Government, Muspika Balongan, and local village officials.

Pertamina carried out efforts to accelerate the handling of the incident's impact in collaboration with Muspika and the Indramayu Regional Government by simultaneously carrying out socialization and verification of data on reports of affected residents. In parallels, locations that have completed socialization and data collection will soon be verified by the Collaboration Team consisting of the Technical Team (PUPR and Kimrum), Pertamina, TNI, Polri, BPBD, Camat, Kuwu (Village Head), as well as RW and RT.

Unit Manager Communication, Relations, & CSR RU VI Balongan Cecep Supriyatna said that the mechanism for replacing damage to residents' property would be calculated according to the district government's standard repair costs. Therefore, all affected residents can get the right amount of compensation.
