Palembang, June 3, 2022 – Since 2017, One Price Fuel has been present for the Indonesian people. Since then, One Price Fuel has provided energy access to remote areas of the country, one of which is the community in Sukajaya Village, Plakat Tinggi District, Musi Banyuasin Regency.
Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR of South Sumatera, Tjahyo Nikho Indrawan, said that the existence of One Price Fuel proves that the state is here for remote communities.
"One Price Fuel is Pertamina's commitment to realizing energy distribution to fulfill the community's needs. It is hoped that Pertamina will continue to guarantee the supply and fuel availability to the districts. Thus, it can encourage productivity and regional economic growth," said Nikho.
To date, 13 One-Price Fuels have been operating in all areas of Southern Sumatera to realize equitable energy.
The one-price fuel in the community has a significant impact on those who need it for daily life or even support their livelihoods. People no longer have to spend more money to get fuel.
Adi, a community member of Sukajaya village, said that One-Price Fuel's existence is certainly very influential on the community’s economic, which are mostly farmers.
"People in Sukajaya village currently no longer need to travel about 70 kilometers to buy fuel at the same price as the city," said Adi.
Meanwhile, on the LPG side, to bring LPG products closer to the community, especially in remote areas, Pertamina carries out the One Village One Outlet (OVOO) program or one village one base. OVOO aims to increase LPG services availability so that people no longer need to buy at high prices at retailers.
For Southern Sumatera region, OVOO already covers 60 cities and regencies, more than 779 sub-districts, and more than 8,333 urban villages.
In addition to developing a 3 Kg LPG Base, Pertamina's OVOO program also continues to encourage Pertashop outlets development to distribute Bright Gas, quality fuel, and Pertamina's lubricant products. So far, 1,044 Pertashop outlets are ready to operate. Therefore, they can support a more even distribution of energy and at the same time, support village economic growth.
