Today, Pertamina Eco Youth Fest 2024 Invites the Younger Generation to Experience the Excitement of Reducing Emissions

Jakarta, September 21, 2024 - PT Pertamina (Persero) has initiated an educational movement on emission reduction while also promoting a sustainable lifestyle to the younger generation through the Pertamina Eco Youth Fest 2024, at Hutan Kota GBK, Saturday, September 21, 2024. This event is open to the public, allowing everyone to enjoy the excitement of environmental action starting from small steps.

The Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that the Pertamina Eco Youth Fest 2024 is a unique blend of entertainment, education, and environmental care presented by Pertamina for the youth.

"Pertamina wants to encourage the younger generation, especially Gen Z, to care for the environment early for a greener future in Indonesia. This event is packed with various unique and attractive programs, which can motivate the youth to practice a sustainable lifestyle to reduce emissions," said Fadjar.

Pertamina will feature Gita Wirjawan and the Agak Laen team Podcast, who will lead a live podcast discussing issues related to emission reduction, renewable energy development, and Pertamina's green energy. This interactive discussion is expected to inspire environmental and energy-conscious movements among the younger generation.

"The goal is to inspire the youth to take their first steps toward a more sustainable future," added Fadjar.

According to Fadjar, Pertamina will also host various Eco Workshops, where attendees can directly practice sustainable efforts.

"We encourage everyone attending to bring their tumblers for purchasing juice and coffee or bring their food containers for the various meals and snacks available at the event," explained Fadjar.

In addition to exciting activities, attendees can enjoy performances by top musicians such as Rizky Febian, Okaay, Idgitaf, Zagi Berian, Agak Lain, Fabio Asher, Club Dangdut Racun, and Endgame.
