Jakarta, June 11, 2022 - Subholding Integrated Marine Logistics (SH IML) PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) is optimistic that the achievement of using the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) in 2022 can exceed the target.
This year, PIS targets the overall TKDN in Subholding Integrated Marine Logistics to reach 30 percent for the goods and services category.
According to PIS data, as of May 2022, the commitment to use TKDN for goods has reached 38 percent. This value increases from the TKDN Commitment for goods achievement in 2021 of only 21.4 percent. Commitment to using TKDN also increased for the service category. Until May 2022, TKDN services reached 77 percent, which increases compared to 2021, which was 70 percent.
"The use of TKDN is PIS's commitment to supporting Pertamina's plan to achieve the 50 percent TKDN target in 2026," said, Corporate Secretary of PIS, Roberth MV Dumatubun.
In accordance with Government Regulation No. 29 of 2018 concerning Industrial Empowerment and other relevant Ministry regulations, PIS ensures the TKDN utilization runs optimally aligned with the Guidelines for the Management of the Use of Domestic Products which are effective from December 1, 2020. from PT Pertamina (Persero).
"With this provision, PIS optimizes the requirements for implementing TKDN in the procurement process for goods, services, or a combination of the two," Roberth added.
