Jakarta, January 10, 2024 - Following the Christmas and New Year 2024 Task Force, PT Pertamina (Persero) continues to strengthen its energy distribution services. To oversee the energy supply and fulfill the public’s needs, Pertamina conducts integrated monitoring through the Pertamina Integrated Enterprise Data and Command Center (PIEDCC).
It was conveyed by the Director of Logistics & Infrastructure of Pertamina, Alfian Nasution, upon receiving a visit from the Head of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) to the PIEDCC located at Grha Pertamina, Jakarta, on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
Alfian explained that the visit aimed to comprehend Pertamina's business activities in real-time, especially the monitoring from upstream to downstream business aspects reflected in the PIEDCC facilities. "We appreciate the Head of BPH Migas’ visit, Mrs. Erika Retnowati, and her team. Hopefully, this presentation provides an understanding of Pertamina's business processes and demonstrates Pertamina's efforts in ensuring energy availability to the public," Alfian expressed.
Additionally, Alfian emphasized that Pertamina consistently maintains fuel and LPG supply availability at fuel and LPG terminals and petrol stations. Patra Niaga has also devised an energy supply plan for the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1445 period scheduled for March-April 2024.
The visit was also attended by Committee Members of BPH Migas, Basuki Trikora Putra and Iwan Prasetya Adhi, Director of Fuel of BPH Migas Sentot Harijady, and Director of Downstream Oil and Gas Business Development Mustika Pertiwi. Furthermore, the President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan, and the Director of Regional Marketing of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, were present.
Head of BPH Migas Erika Retnowati appreciated the PIEDCC, which further facilitates Pertamina in directly monitoring energy availability across Indonesia. She also hoped that Pertamina would continue enhancing innovations related to its operational business.
"I am proud that Pertamina has a command center like this that can monitor real-time conditions from upstream to downstream in the field. Starting from oil field production to distribution up to petrol stations," Erika expressed.
Erika hoped Pertamina could anticipate energy stock availability, especially in hard-to-reach areas. Not only anticipating weather factors but also when there are plans for Pertamina's refinery improvements. "I see the readiness is good, meaning it has been well anticipated," Erika concluded.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, added that PIEDCC is a crucial part of the company's digital transformation to ensure all of Pertamina's business processes run smoothly, including the distribution of fuel and LPG to the public across Indonesia. "Through real-time digital monitoring, we ensure the energy supply to the public runs smoothly," he stated.
Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement.
