Welcoming Eid Al-Fitr 1444 H, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel Guarantees Smooth Fuel, LPG, and Avtur Distribution

Palembang, April 10, 2023 - Facing the homecoming season and Eid Al-Fitr 1444 Hijriyah, Pertamina Patra Niaga South Sumatera Regional (Sumbagsel) continues to ensure the community's energy needs. It was revealed during the Pertamina Readiness Press Conference ahead of the homecoming season and Eid Al-Fitr 1444 H in Palembang on Thursday (6/4).

Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel, Zibali Hisbul Masih, stated through his official statement that the current fuel and LPG supply is sufficient to meet the people's daily needs.

"During the 2023 Rafi Task Force, we want to ensure that the stock is sufficient so that distribution is not disrupted and the public can carry out their homecoming trips comfortably and calmly," explained the Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional for South Sumatera, Zibali Hisbul Masih.

To ensure smooth fuel and LPG distribution during Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr, Pertamina has formed a Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr Task Force (SATGAS) from April 1, 2023, to May 2, 2023.

During the RAFI Task Force, for the South Sumatera region, gasoline consumption is predicted to increase by 24%, for gasoil fuel, there is no significant change. LPG consumption is predicted to increase by around 9.7%, and for Avtur, it is predicted to increase by around 27%. This projection is compared to the average normal consumption from January to February 2023. The estimated Gasoline distribution during the 2023 Rafi Task Force compared to the 2022 Rafi Task Force increased by 3% for Gasoline and an 8.2% increase for Gasoil.

"All infrastructure has been alerted, including ten fuel terminals, two LPG terminals, 675 petrol stations, 62 gas stations, 482 LPG agents, and six DPPUs," he concluded.

Besides the main infrastructure, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel also provides additional fuel services on potential routes, including toll roads, tourist routes, and main traffic routes, in the form of 87 Standby Petrol Stations, 309 Standby Agents & 5540 Standby LPG Base Outlets, five Pertamina Kiosk Units Standby, 15 Motorist Units, and 16 Standby Tank Car Units.

For the Lampung region, additional services have been alerted, including nine petrol stations on the Trans Sumatera toll road, three KiosK units on the Trans Sumatera toll road, six pocket petrol stations, and 15 motorized units or Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS).

For the South Sumatera region, additional services on standby includes two petrol stations on the SPBE toll road, two KiosK units on the Trans toll road, and ten pocket petrol stations.
