Welcoming Galungan Day, MOR V Increase LPG Supply in Bali

DENPASAR – In anticipating Galungan Day on 1 November 2017, Marketing Operation Region (MOR) V JatimBalinus ensure their LPG stock and supply in Bali is in good condition. In addition, they also increase the supplu of 3kg LPG to welcome the celebration of this religious holidays.

Pertamina give the addition to 3 kg LPG supply on 28 - 29 Oktober 2017 with the total of 177.680 tube of LPG 3 kg or about 533,04 Metric Ton for all Bali region. As for its realization, 206.685 tubes of LPG 3 kg or equal to 620,05 Metric Ton each day.

“The addition reach 85% from the average daily distribution in Bali. We hope that people can celebrate Galungan in peace without worrying stock void or LPG price increase,” said Area Manager Communication & Relations JatimBalinus, Rifky Rakhman Yusuf.

Moreover, Rifky added, related to the condition of Gunung Agung that is still “alert”, Pertamina also prepared preventive steps in fuel and LPG distribution if Gunung Agung erupt. One of which, by redirecting supply point for consumers and distributors from TBBM Manggis to TBBM Sanggaran as well as Surabaya. If emergency condition happened, supply point can be redirected from Tanjung Wangi directly to consumers or distributors through tankers with ferry ship.

“For LPG supply in Jembrana, Buleleng and Tabanan is redirected to Banyuwangi LPG Terminal via land to Gilimanuk port transported via ship to Ketapang port. As for LPG in Denpasar, Badung, Gianyar and Klungkung through land towards Benoa port and is transported by ferry or landing craft tank to Ketapang port,’ Rifky explained.

Until recently, Pertamina continue to distribute LPG aid to refugee locations about 10 elpiji 12 or 50 kg per location each day. Locations that receive LPG supply such as GOR Swecapura, Lapangan Ulakan, Manggis, Rendang, Les, Tembok and Sambirenteng.•MOR V
