Welcoming the Celebration of Democracy, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB Deploys Task Force for Fuel & LPG Distribution

Jakarta, February 11, 2024 - In anticipation of the 2024 General Election (Pemilu), Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java formed a Task Force for Controlling and Monitoring the Smooth Fuel and LPG Distribution during the 2024 General Election period to ensure the fulfillment of the community's needs for fuel and LPG during the national agenda implementation, including the campaign period up to the 2024 General Election, since February 5, 2024, until February 18, 2024.

On February 14, 2024, Indonesia will hold the democracy celebration of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential as well as Legislative General Elections, during which activities such as campaigning could potentially cause traffic congestion and hinder the smooth fuel and LPG distribution to the community in the West Java Regional area, which includes Banten Province, DKI Jakarta Province, and West Java Province. Therefore, Pertamina needs to prepare itself to anticipate these activities.

Eko Kristiawan, Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java, stated that Pertamina welcomes the 2024 democracy celebration for the 2024 Presidential, Vice Presidential, and Legislative Elections and hopes that the implementation of this national agenda can proceed safely, peacefully, and smoothly.

"To meet the energy needs of the community in the West Java Regional area, Pertamina Patra Niaga has six Fuel Terminals, four LPG Terminals, five Aviation Fueling Depots (DPPUs), 1,578 Gas Stations (SPBUs), 504 Pertashop Outlets, 203 Bulk LPG Filling Stations (SPBEs), three Industrial SPBEs, 1,647 PSO LPG Agents, 259 Non-PSO LPG Agents, and 48,009 PSO LPG Depots," Eko explained.

"In facing the 2024 General Election, Pertamina collaborates with various parties, including the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI), the Transportation Agency (Dishub), Jasa Marga, and other related agencies to ensure that the fuel and LPG distribution does not encounter obstacles in meeting the community's energy needs in the provinces of Banten, DKI Jakarta, and West Java," concluded Eko.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java guarantees a secure and smooth fuel and LPG distribution for all communities in Banten, DKI Jakarta, and West Java.
