Singapore, May 20, 2021 - PT Pertamina (Persero), as Indonesia's representative, won the ASRA award, which outperformed hundreds of other companies from 17 countries in Asia. Pertamina won the Bronze Award for Asia's Best SDG Reporting at the 6th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA), the most prestigious international award event for corporate reporting in Asia.
Pertamina has also succeeded in becoming a finalist in two other categories. It includes Asia's Best Community Reporting and Asia's Best Digital Sustainability Report for the 2019 financial year. Previously, Pertamina received Highly Commanded Asia's Best Carbon Disclosure for the 2017 Sustainability Report.
It is proof that Pertamina is superior in real work and the implementation of ESG in all its operational fields to achieve the global goals, SDGs.

The virtual awards ceremony began with H.E. Kara Owen, British High Commissioner for Singapore, remarks and H.E. Niclas Kvarnström, Swedish Ambassador to Singapore. The event was attended by more than 250 senior business leaders and sustainability practitioners from 20 countries, as well as high-ranking officials from academia, embassies, trade associations, and advocacy organizations.

An independent panel of judges from various well-known international institutions such as EcoVadis, NUS, PwC, and others, evaluated 494 entries received from 17 countries in 19 award categories. After the initial evaluation, 102 companies from 14 countries made it to the finals. In the final stage, 39 winners were selected who won 57 Gold, Silver, Bronze medals, and the Report of the Year award.
The ASRA evaluation involves three rounds of grading to select the best in each award category. In addition to assessing the quality of the report, comprehensive due diligence considers the company's reputation among stakeholders as part of the judging process.
ASRA is organized by CSRWorks International, a Singapore-based non-profit sustainability organization in partnership with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), EcoVadis, CDP, S&P Global (CSA / Dow Jones Sustainability Index), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and AccountAbility (AA1000).**
