HSSE Supreme – Pertamina’s Commitment to Develop a Sustainable Business

SUPREME (Sustainability Pertamina Expectations For HSSE Management Excellence) is a Management System that integrates the best/world-class HSSE practices in structured and systematic way at Corporate Level, Directorates, Operational Units, and Subsidiaries of Pertamina, while ensuring that those HSSE practices will contribute to the continuity of the entire businesses, help manage the related risks, and determine as well as achieve business targets, fulfill goals of HSSE implementation, and other Pertamina’s targets (KPI, goals, and/or other targets).

HSSE Management System (SUPREME) refers to the applying regulations, including SMK3, SMP Perkap 24/ 2007, and Proper of Ministry of Environmental and Forestry Affairs as well as adopts management system standards, among which are ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 26000, ISO 27001, ISO 28000, ISO 31000, ISO 39001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and other standards. In addition, HSSE Management System also adopts the Process Safety Management. Pertamina manages risks of Work Safety and Process Safety in operating its businesses.

HSSE Beyond Culture is generative expectation of HSSE work culture, which puts risk controlling competence and compliance aspects of HSSE to be “Way of Life”, to which every PERTAMINA employee is committed, “To do the right thing, and to not approve certain habit” in each activity and their daily life.
