PERTAMINA GREEN COKE

As a form of Pertamina's commitment to support the growth of the aluminum metal industries in Indonesia, we also provide Green Coke products with low sulfur content and a calorie value of 7,500 - 8,500 Kcal / Kg.

Green Coke is processed from solid-shaped Carbon compounds using the Delayed Cooking Unit which is able to convert heavy oil (Short Residue) to Green Coke.

Our advantages:

• High Calorific Value between 7,500 - 8,500 Kcal / Kg, higher than coal which has a Calorific Value between 5,000 - 6,000 Kcal / Kg
• Easy stockpiling and less pollution
• Easier Grading process.
• Lower Ash Content.

Green Coke is widely used as a raw material for the production of Calcined Coke as an alumina decomposition process, while it is also used for the application of fuel for cement plants, metal smelting, power plants, and applications for tin smelting reduction.
