Sulfur is a non-metal chemical element that has two crystalline forms namely Alpha Sulfur Rombic and Beta Sulfur Monoclinic. Both of these elements are yellow, insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol and ether, and soluble in carbon disulfide, carbon tetrachloride, and benzene.
Sulphur is widely used in fertilizers, medicines, rayon industries, paper, pulp, battery storage, detergent and sugar, food preservatives, glass, and soap industries.
Sulphur is also used in Sulphuric Acid, Aluminum Sulfate, and Ammonium Sulfate.
