PERTAMINA SOLVENT

Solvent produced by Pertamina can be used for a wide variety of industrial applications.

Low Aromatic White Spirit (LAWS)

The hydrocarbon compounds that make up LAWS are a mixture of paraffins, cycloparaffins, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Prominent properties of this product is that it’s not corrosive, relatively stable, and clear colored.

LAWS is widely used for industrial applications such as resin raw materials, paints, thinners, lacquerware, printing inks, cleaning materials, textile printing.

Special Boiling Point (SBP-XX)

SBP-XX is a solvent composed of Aliphatic Hydrocarbon compounds, Naphtenic, and a few Aromatic compounds. The critical properties of this product is density, boiling range, and odor. This solvent is flammable, but has a small toxicity due to low Benzene content.

This product is widely used for adhesives and rubber solvent, paint, thinner, print ink, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.

PERTASOL

Produced in Pertamina Cepu refinery, Central Java, Pertasol is a solvent derived from Naphtha Hydrocarbons that consists of Paraffins, Cycloparaffins / Naphtaenics, and Aromatics formed in Atmospheric Distillation Unit with Asphaltic Paraffinic and Crude as its main ingredients. There are 3 types of products produced:

• Pertasol CA
• Pertasol CB
• Pertasol CC

SOLPHY-2

In compliance with the Vienna Convention and Montreal Protocol Regulations related to reducing the bad impact on Ozone (Ozone Depleting Substance), Solphy-2 is an environmentally friendly hydrocarbon solvent.

Solphy-2 meets ASTM D235 requirements and adopts it as a standard specification for Solvent Hydrocarbon / Mineral cleaners. This product is commonly used for cleaning Solvents for Aviation Industries as a Degreaser, for pre-cleaning, and for general cleaning of metal components / surfaces and solvent resistant finishes / coatings surfaces.

Besides that, Solphy-2 can also be a Solvent Stoddard substitution that is widely used for industrial applications of painting, coating, and drying.
