PERTAMINA PROCESSING OIL

Pertamina is a major producer of Processing Oil with a focus on 2 main product groups, namely Paraffinic Oil and Aromatic Oil. These products are mainly used for Tire Industries and some industrial solvents related to Ink Manufacturing for both Manual and Automatic Printing.

PARAFFINIC OIL

Paraffinic oil is a product of processing oil known for its flexibility characteristics, it also provides colors other than the color black. We provide 2 types of Paraffinic products, namely:

  • Paraffinic Oil 60
  • Paraffinic Oil 95

This product is widely used for Tire Industries, Synthetic Rubber Polymers, Fan Belts, and Printing Industries

AROMATIC OIL

We provide processing oil products with Aromatic Oil base through treatment process of Fuel Oil products to produce processing oil of certain viscosity level according to Pertamina’s standards.

This product is widely used for Rubber Compound Manufacturing Industries to increase the Softening and Elasticity of Tire Rubber Material, and also reduce Rubber Compound Viscosity.

In addition to the above mentioned benefits, on a small scale it can be used as a secondary plasticizer for PVC product. This product can be a substitute for Diactyl Phthalate which can reduce molecule viscosity. We provide 3 types of Aromatic products, namely

  • Minarex A,
  • Minarex H,
  • Minarex I,

Pertamina has developed a Residual Aromatic Extracted (RAE) base Aromatic Oil product to meet European Legislation Regulation No. 2005/69 / EC which requires that the product must be free from Carcinogens. Tests have been carried out at the Biochemisches Institute Fur Umweltcarcinogene, Germany. Initial export has been carried out in 2014 to Malaysia.
