The regulatory compliance of Pertamina and its subsidiaries relating to environmental management is reflected on the achievement of PROPER rating, issued by Ministry of Environment and Forestry Affairs. During three years of its participation, Pertamina’s PROPER Gold achievement achieved 50% of total National Proper Gold Achievement. In 2017, Pertamina won 11 of total 19 PROPER Gold, then in 2018, Pertamina collected 14 of 20 PROPER Gold ratings. In 2019, Pertamina collected 13 of 26 National PROPER Gold. Besides, Pertamina also ensures none of its subsidiaries rated PROPER red
The achievement confirmed Pertamina’s consistency to preserve environment in its production process within the framework of an environmental-responsible operation. Pertamina’s environmental management is also beyond compliance by implementing environmental management system and efficiency in use of resources and promoting social responsibilities.
